    We are located in the heart of historic downtown Royse City, Texas at 134 East Main Street. You can’t miss us…we are the only pink place in town!

    We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00am to 8:00pm and are closed on Sunday and Monday.

  • Events - Parties - Weddings

     

    Do you make birthday cakes and wedding cakes?

    Yes we do!  We can create a customized cake or the simplest of sweet cakes to get you exactly what you want. Please see our Menu tab or the Mr. & Mrs. Tab for more information.

     

     

     

    I’m getting married- Can I come in for a cake consultation?

    Cake Consultations for weddings and large events are by appointment only so that we can devote our full attention to you and creating the perfect sweet for you and your event.  There is a $10.00 charge for Cake Consultations and Tastings, and include 45 minutes of cake/sweets tasting and consultation with one of our designers.  In order to book an appointment for a consultation, please email us at sweetfacesugarshoppe@gmail.com  so that we can send over the Cake Consultation Form, or better yet, find our form under the Mr. & Mrs. tab. From there we will work with you to set up a time to come in and meet with us.

     

     

     

    Do you do private events?

    We offer private birthday parties on Sundays and Mondays.  Please see our I Want A SweetFace Party tab for the party details.  We can rent our shoppe for private events such as baby showers, business gatherings, etc.  Please contact us for more information and rental rates.

     

     

  • Placing an Order (Pre - Post - Cancellation):

     

    Can I just walk in and place an order?

    Yes, you can always walk in and place an order.  However all of our cakes, specialty cupcakes and decorated cookies are custom and made-to-order.  Please know that you cannot walk in and expect a cake on the same day.  We do have a wide variety of cookies, pies and cupcakes available for purchase on a daily basis.

     

     

     

    How do I place an order?

    The first thing to do is browse our gallery, Facebook page, the internet, or your own little imagination to get a general idea of what you want and what will work best for your event.  From there, you can either call us, come by, or email/message us to inquire on availability and discuss your needs. We encourage you to send us pictures and images to help customize and design your cake or cookies.  Please note, if you are not sure of what you want or feel as though you need some time with one of our designers to design the cake/cookies, please call to inquire about setting up a consultation. A quick question or two when placing an order is perfectly fine and common, but detailed designing of a cake or cookies at the time of booking can often take our designers away from the committed times of already placed orders due that day.  Out of respect for all of our customers and their needs, we cannot guarantee detailed consultations for walk-in orders.

     

     

     

    How much advance notice do I need to give to place an order for a cake or specialty cookies?

    That all depends on what you need and when you need it and how busy that particular week is.  Typically we prefer a 3-4 week notice on specialty cookie orders and 2 week notice on cake orders. While we will always do our very best to take every order that comes in, we do book up quite a bit in advance especially during holidays and busy months of graduations and weddings.  Please always ask, as we can sometimes squeeze in last minute orders, but understand that this is dependent completely upon our weekly schedule.  Best advice, if you know the date but are unsure of the details, go ahead and get on the books!  The details can always be worked out!

     

     

     

    I placed an order but the party date has changed. Can I move my order date?

    That all depends on the availability of the week you need to move your order to.  While we will always try to accommodate changes WITH advance notice, we do book up in advance for custom orders and so the date you need to change to may already be booked.

     

     

     

    What form of payment do you accept?

    Do you require a deposit on special orders?

    For all custom orders we require a $20.00 non-refundable deposit to secure your order.  The remaining balance can be paid upon pickup. For wedding cake orders we require a $100.00 deposit to secure the wedding date.  The remaining wedding balance MUST be paid the week of the wedding or your order will not be fulfilled.

     

     

     

    The RSVP count has changed from my original order.  Can I add or minimize my order?

    We can add to or take away from your order with advanced notice.  Any changes to the order within less than 48 hours, IF we are able to accommodate, you will incur an additional charge of $25 in addition to the change in the pricing of the items.

     

     

     

    What is your cancellation policy?

    We understand life happens.  If you need to cancel your order, we don’t like it but we understand things come up.  Please let us know as soon as possible as we often have customers on a waiting list, however, your deposit is non-refundable so it’s important to remember that.

     

     

     

    Can you do large orders?

    Whether you need 1 item or 1001, if we have the availability we can handle it!  This is when that “How soon should I order?” answer comes in handy.

     

     

    Do you have minimums on orders?

    We do not require minimum orders on our daily pastry case cookies or custom designed SweetFace Cookies.  A minimum order of 1 dozen is required for regular and small specialty flavored cupcakes and a minimum of 2 dozen for mini cupcakes and mini pies.

    Do you offer peanut-free desserts?

    Most of our items are peanut and nut free.  However, PLEASE NOTE that we are not a certified peanut free bakery and while the majority of our products are free from nuts, ALL products (nut free or not) are manufactured on the same equipment and cross contamination can occur.  When in doubt, please always ask.

     

     

     

     

    Do you have gluten-free, sugar-free, vegan, or dairy-free desserts?

    We are always trying to come up with new recipes that meet dietary restrictions.  Please see our menu regarding specialty items such as this.  PLEASE NOTE: We are not a certified “gluten-free” bakery and we do use flour and gluten products throughout the bakery so cross contamination could occur.  We do have a selection of candy that is certified gluten free and able to meet certain dietary restrictions.  If in doubt, please always ask.

     

  • Cakes

     

    How much are your cakes?

    Cakes are all base priced on size starting at $20.  Additional charges can incur depending on the degree of detail or decoration needed to make your sugary vision come to life.  On average, estimate about $3.00 per serving for buttercream cakes and $4.00 for fondant covered cakes.

    Tiered cakes may incur additional charges.

     

     

     

    How large of a cake should I order?

    First you should estimate how many guests you predict will be attending your event.  Then visit our MR. & MRS. Tab to view our cake sizes and servings chart.  Please keep in mind that these are suggested serving sizes and how the cake is sliced can alter these numbers.

     

     

     

    Do you have cakes ready for walk-in purchases?

    No. All of our cakes, specialty cupcakes and decorated cookies are custom and made-to-order to give each and every customer their own unique and personal SweetFace experience.  We do have a wide variety of cookies, pies, and cupcakes available for purchase on a daily basis.

     

     

     

    Do you rent cake stands?

    No, we do not.  But we can tell you where to find some cute ones!

     

     

  • Cupcakes

     

    I only need 8 mini cupcakes, why do I have to order at least one dozen?

    To keep our costs manageable (and overall prices lower for you!) we require a minimum order for certain items. *See MINIMUM ORDER question under "Placing an order".  Since the majority of our orders are custom, the extra leftovers would become excess.  Plus, who eats just one mini cupcake?!??

     

     

     

    What size of cupcakes do you offer?

    We offer 3 sizes of cupcakes.  Regular sized (which you will find daily in our shoppe), Small sized (a little bit smaller than the regular sized…typically the size you would bake at home), and Mini sized (one to two bite sized cupcakes).

     

     

     

    I want custom cookies, but you are booked up. You suggested cupcakes – Why can I get cupcakes, but not the cookies I want?

    SweetFace Cookies are each decorated by hand by our SweetFace Cookie Designer.  Since each cookie is decorated by hand, we are limited to the number of custom cookie orders we can take each week.  SweetFace Cookies typically book up 4-6 weeks in advance.  We always want to be able to offer you something when we can’t give you what you first asked for, and who doesn’t love a good cupcake?

     

     

     

    Do you make the same cupcake flavors everyday?

    We offer 4-6 flavors of cupcakes daily.  The cupcake flavors are rotated weekly and chosen from our 50+ flavors of cupcakes with at least one new cupcake flavor added each week.

     

     

  • Cookies

  • Pies

     

    Do you have whole pies for sale everyday?

    Possibly.  We have pies available by the slice everyday.  If you happen to come in and need a pie and no one has sliced into it yet then it is up for grabs.  If somebody has already munched on it…we can make you one up.  Best advice, call us in advance and we can get one ready for you!

     

     

     

  • Pick-up - Delivery - Call Response

     

    I left a voicemail/email/Facebook message – when can I expect to get a return call or response?

    During business hours we are available to answer the phone.  If the voicemail picks up then we are either on the other line or out front helping a customer.   For emails and Facebook messages, simply put, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest days in the bakery.  Please keep in mind that during these busy days we are focusing on orders and often unable to immediately answer emails and Facebook messages.  We do receive quite a few emails and messages each day and, because we sometimes mess up, a message or email might get overlooked.  If you have not heard back from us, give us another shout!

     

     

     

    I have scheduled to pick up my order at 12:00 PM – Can I come earlier?

    Due to the volume of orders we receive it is imperative that we schedule pickup times for each order.  We bake and decorate each day’s order based on the pickup schedule.  This allows us to ensure that your order is of the finest quality and utmost freshness.  You may call the shoppe to see if your order is ready early (yes, sometimes we actually get ahead of schedule!) but please understand that it is not guaranteed until the pickup time agreed upon at the time of placing the order.

     

     

     

    Do you deliver?

    Typically, no, not on a daily basis.  Occasionally we can deliver an order locally but most often we do not have the man power to do so.  We will deliver and set up for large events, IF booked ahead of time, for a delivery and set up fee of $75.00.

     

     

  • Storage of Product

     

     

    How should I store my cake, cupcakes, pies and cookies?

    Cakes and cupcakes with buttercream do not require refrigeration unless being served the next day, in which we recommend refrigerating and then serving at room temperature.  Cakes or cupcakes covered with fondant or with fondant detail should NOT be refrigerated, as this will cause the fondant to “sweat” and get sticky.  SweetFace Cookies should not be refrigerated.  Storing in the bakery box will be just fine.  Pies should be refrigerated and served cold…unless it’s a fruit pie, then heat that baby up and serve it a’la mode.

    At the moment, no.  But we are always tossing new ideas around so if you have an idea or a desire for a class, shoot us an email and let us know!

     

     

    Are all of your products made in-house?

    All of our items are baked in-house daily.

     

     

    What kind of items do you sell?

    We offer a wide variety of cookies, cupcakes, pies, cakes, cakeballs, candies, truffles and more.  We also have gourmet teas, coffee drinks, and made-from-scratch lemonade.
